APaN’s primary aims are to:

State Chapter Leadership – volunteer positions

The State Chapter Leader’s role is to facilitate the activities of the local chapter including organising networking meetings, workshops and seminars to seed and encourage the conversations and connections between and amongst members of APAN, non-members working in the industry, relevant stakeholders and the industries and organisations that support our profession. They are responsible for creating a professional, supportive and empowering environment for the membership to connect with each other, learn new skills and strive for success.

They are also the conduit of information between the state membership and the National APAN Association.

State chapter leaders will be awarded the position after consideration annually and advertised to members via the December newsletter of that year. The role will commence as at January of that year of tenure. Please read the governance requirements of the position carefully before applying to ensure you can fulfil your commitments.
